In 1994, the Long Beach Educational Partnership was instituted. The mission of the Partnership is to try to protect the education of young people as the standard of living decreases for many families. The partnership consists of CSULB, Long Beach, Long Beach City College, and the Long Beach Unified School District. Focused on grades P - graduate school, it works to increase the accomplishments of students.
Right now, curricular reform and restructuring in high schools is a primary concentration. The Partnership is also getting ready to put into operation the Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers to Use Technology Grant.
